Organizing an IGSM

The fact that you are on this site, means that you are in the group of people who either already organised an International Geodetic Student Meeting or that you are a member of an organisation committee in the future.

The IGSO-Wiki platform is meant to help future IGSM organizers bringing together all the knowledge and experiences earlier organisation committees had.

We tried to divide the content of an IGSM into several sections, covering the most important things to organize. Hopefully the content of these sections will help you organize your meeting, and maybe prevent you from mistakes earlier organizers made.

As the organizer of a future IGSM, you will receive an account to log in to this wiki. If you don’t have an account yet, but think that you need one, please send request for a new account:

Log in

Once you have logged in, you can proceed to IGSM sections or the IGSM timeline which will give you a good starting point on getting the information about what you will need to organize and in what order.

!!! Each new member of IGSM organization committee (new IGSO – Wiki user) is required to:
  • Keep up-to-date the information on IGSO-Wiki platform,
  • Uploading the General Assembly reports and other necessary documents from the organized IGSM,
  • Creating and maintaining the documentation that will facilitate the organization of future IGSM Meetings.
